How good a service do letting agents provide?
Citizens Advice are currently collecting evidence in order to put together a report on how satisfied tenants are with the service they get from letting agents. We are particularly interested in information on the charges which some agents impose on tenants - whether these are reasonable and whether they cause problems for tenants.

If you are currently a private tenant renting through a letting agent, or have been in the last two years, you can help us by taking part in a our:Letting agents survey

New online referral system
We are introducing an online referral system to enable organisations and their users to directly access our services. This system is due to start in April 2008 and is being trialed by a selected group of organisations. We aim to enable access to any organisation who requires it by April 2009 and eventually to individual clients.

The system is a simple internet based site which will be accessible using a password. Once logged in an organistion will be able to record details of the client and the issue; enabling a member of bureau staff to contact that client.
