The West Glamorgan Advice and Information Forum is a group of advice and information providers working throughout West Glamorgan. The Forum will promote and work within the principles of equal opportunities and challenge discrimination on the grounds of, including race, gender, language, disability, sexuality, age and creed.

The aims of the Forum are

(1) to facilitate a referral network to ensure that users are directed to the right service provider at the right time as the case progresses;
(2) to maintain information on the demand for and provision of services to inform local advice strategies;
(3) to share information on best practice and developments in the law and regulations;
(4) to develop the sharing of resources, including training and support;
(5) to form links with similar bodies in neighbouring counties to share practices and training, and
(6) to influence local and national policies and strategies.
